I'am having a terrible time trying to get the mirror lined up and tightened. It seems that after i tightened the nut it takes another full turn on the mirror to tighten it but if i do that it will break. Yes this is the right side mirror with the backwards thread i'am also using the Drag Specialties mirror adaptors. I want to give them a try but my shoulders might be to broad to use them.

Yeah, getting those things right is a pain. As far as your shoulders being in the way, I ended up getting a pair of mirror riser/extenders. They are little add ons that lift and widen the mirrors. I have a pair of Arlen Ness Upswepts and it really helped.
