I don't think they are both 22. I think the muffler side is 27. I should know since I did the front pulley mod but I got a number of new sockets for various projects at the same time. That said the 27mm was a separate purchase from the set so I think it was for that. I know the 30mm was for the front pulley. Do a search on front pulley mod since the info was given to me in that thread.
And no offense but don't half-ass this project. Those axle nuts need to be correctly torqued to like 110lbs NOT by a crescent wrench(see the online manual for the exact specs). Too much riding on that axle(potentially your life!!) to take shortcuts.
That said, you can rent the torque wrench from Auto Zone etc. if you don't want to add to your tool box right now.
