So it's going on 1 month after bi-lateral hernia surgery, still in a little discomfort but I'm going crazy! I have ridden around town to the store and bank this week to test the waters a bit so I think it's time for a little longer ride. I plan on going Sunday up to Groton,NY about a hour and a half north where I took my Motorcycle Safety Class in April to say hi and thank them...and of course show off the bike. I'm going to call a couple cycle shops to see if they carry Guardian Bells so I can give both of the instructors one. I go back to work on June 18th so I want to get in a couple long rides. This week I have been going over the bike making adjustments and corrections to some of the things I have done since I got my Stryker, so it's time to enjoy them a little before going back to those 7 days a week - 12 hour - rotating shift days I miss so much : . Thankfully I go back to a new job with a pay raise and my first two weekends off so I will get to go to my first Pride Ride Event on the 23rd and 24th of June.
