My bike is in pieces and I cannot test this. I can't remember if you can "dim" the stock gauge LEDs all the way off or not. Can someone answer this for me.

For those who didnt know:
turn key off
hold /\ side of the select switch
turn key on
keep holding /\ for 5+ secs
then press /\ \/ to select brightness
push reset to confirm choice

I don't have my bike here but I did adjust it. Don't think I was able to go black. Always had some color.

US bikes don't have an Up/Down Select button.

Thanks for tip.....I've got Nyjol's speedo with green LEDs. I was able to dim the red backlight in the mileage led area, not completely but enough....
