I am looking for a deal on a backrest for my 2011 Stryker, do any of you guys know if any backrests from any other VStar motorcycles fit the stryker?? Thanks!!

IIRC the VSTAR1300 backrest fits the Stryker. If you're still searching, here's a link with some different makes for the stryker

I kinda like the transformer and may put it on my 11 stryker, as I don't carry a passenger that often and I like the idea of potentially having less wind drag with the open rest.

Kuryakyn only shows the side plates for a V Star 1100.. 99-09. Are those the same for the Stryker?

Kuryakyn told me neither the Raptor or the transformer are available for the Stryker. I wanted the Raptor and I also like the transformer. I was going to buy the bar and have the brackets fabricated, but decided on the OEM tall black detachable instead.

the stryker bolts are 6-1/2" apart. the vstar 1300 are 10" apart...ya I called JP cycles and they said no side plates for Transformer that fits Stryker.

You can almost get a seat with pillion for the price of a decent backrest! I am not sure I understand the pricing logic on these things (?).
