first off thanks for those that answered my basic questions on the Stryker......I appreciated the feedback which prompted me to go for a test ride....(note: This is where the bad come in)
So I stopped by the dealer to test ride a black Stryker they had as a demo. I hopped on it and (here we go)...I immediately felt comfortable (bad number 1)...I pulled out of the dealer and noticed how easy it was to handle (Bad #2)...rolled the throttle on and it responded very nicely (Bad #3...thats right 3 Strykes already!!)...so i ride it home and show my G/F and she likes it...my neighbor says...Dude you live once...you look good on that thing..BUY IT (grrrr)...
So I head out to the open road for a short 8 mile ride (I could have gone further)....and I couldn't believe how nice it was...(EVIL begins now)...it pulls effortlessly and I noticed people checking it out....I shift up and shift down and it just goes and cruises so nice....(Grrr..More EVIL)...I get off the road and head back and got a couple of waves (no complaints it DOES look bad aZZ!)...I pull into the dealer and turn it back in...(now comes the real bad part)...I am too upside down on my Vulcan at this time to be able to make the plunge...so it has to wait....Grrrr....
So I get home and G/F says to me "You ride that Stryker much easier than your Vulcan you look more naturally balanced and comfortable on it" ****!! I don't want to hear that woman!!!
Anyway...for those that have this magnificent machine...Congrats from me...it truly is a **** fine motorcycle....and one that I think could have a serious following....
Well Stryker fans I am outta here for now...For those on the Fence....Ride it...It WILL change your mind. AS for me? I wanted a blue one....now I want the Black one!!!
