Do any of you use locks / cables to secure your toolbags / swingarm bags / sissy bar bags / saddlebags?

I am more concerned when the wife and I do weekend trips, Maggie Valley, etc.. etc.. - i'd like to be able to leave the bags on and not have to worry bout them from the casual thief - just to keep honest ppl honest.

The saddlebags are easybracket bags - so they'll come in to the hotel at night, but when out and about and the wife wants to shop.. need to secure the goodies.

Thinking bout securing them with the little tsa locks / cables.

Thoughts?

Saddlebags I had...til the accident, were from River Road. They had a relatively simple combo lock built in. However, like any other lock it only keeps the honest thieves honest. Any bag, even hard bags are relatively to get into quickly.

I've thought about that myself, but I figured if sleazy people saw locks on 'em they would figure there's gotta be valuable stuff in there and give 'em a reason to slash them open (I've got leather bags). So I've opted not to. So far so good.
