I finally got around to installing my new Cobra Dragsters and Fox Creek Leather saddlebags. I think the combo worked out quite well. I hard mounted the bags cause I like to show off that rear fender. The flames on the bags carry the theme from the tank and solo seat. Very happy with all of it....

I just took my bags off this weekend intill I need them for a trip. Fell in love with the look of the bike again. Couldnt stop looking at it all day. What did u do to hard mount them because when I get a solo seat I dont want the strap over fender.

I used a set of Cobra Saddlebag Supports. Drilled through the bags, one large washer on the inside of the bag, one large washer outside, bolted through the supports, and into the fender. Came out real clean.

Oh, and used a little loctite to avoid a disaster.

Thanks very much guys.
Toby, the Dragsters are flat out awesome. They sound like the coming of the Almighty.
I pulled out the baffles and wrapped them with Helix muffler wrap and re-installed.
The result is the same badass low rumble, but without any raspy overtones.
Just perfect.

Saddlemen Tattoo bags are flamed - even in different thread colors. Wish they'd make sissybar bags/luggage. They have the saddle bags and tool bag. Almost got them, but since I couldn't find a sissy bar bag/ luggage to go with the flame theme... I just went with River Road braided set..
