Im messing around with an idea, but I need to find out the size of the screw that holds on the end weights. I know they are under little caps. But I can't find the specs. Just wondering if anyone knows before I go busting in there for no reason. Thanks in advance.

It's a 6mm. allen to take them off, and a 16 X 1.50 thread pitch, that goes into the bar.

Just a clarification 16 X 1.5 mean 16 mm? By 1.5?

Ya, it would be 16mm. in dia. X 1.5 threads per mm. The out side of the threads are 16mm. the inside of the hole would be 14mm. if your trying to slide something in?

I was messing with the idea of some bar end mirrors, the ones I favor are triumph brand and only have a 6mm screw. it was worth a shot, it would have looked sick.

You could make a threaded adaptor that went into the bars and had a 6x1.00 hole for the mirror? You could even make it out of brass so it still dampend the bars?

If I got a die that size, I could do them pretty quick? I've been thinking about getting one to do something simular on my bike. If you really want to do those mirrors, LMK.

I saw some bar end mirrors at Cycle Gear the other day that would work. I've done something similar to this before with teh stock end weights and ISO grips for my old Suzuki.
