Hello all, first post to the site since finding it! I haven't seen any other Strykers on the road near me, and it's cool to see all of you satisfied riders! I wanted to post my pics of my Baron big air kit, as I feel it is my favorite mod to date....It looks bad ass, sounds great great, and definitely gives you some pop in accelerating. I have them posted in my gallery. I can't make them small enough to post in this message! Or you can view here: [ftp=ftp://community.cruisercustomizing.com/_Baron-Big-Air-Kit/photo/13981234/22960.html]http://community.cruisercustomizing.com/_Baron-Big-Air-Kit/photo/13981234/22960.html[/ftp]. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks man! I like it for sure. Pretty sweet being the first one here with it on. But if someone does end up getting one of these, I would be curious to see if they had the same idle noise as mine does. It's not annoying or anything, it's just a louder noise than stock because there is no cover for the filter now, so the air blows right out!

I was debating on getting that for mine but it does look bad ass!!.... That is chrome rite?.... I waiting for a response from L&M about getting the Black Spike Air Kit But No Replys Yet?? :-[
Yup chrome pin stripe is the option I went with, but they have multiple types including a blacked out version of the pinstripe:

I like that look. Had one on my old vstar 1100. I ordered the cobra powrflo kit, but may cancel and go with the barons in black w/ pinstripe.
Yeah I was really back and forth on that one. I liked the black look too...If you get it, post some pics!

I have had the black on for a little while now(will post pic when I have time). Have you noticed that it is running rougher now? I did the drilled exhaust plate at the same time. I hoping that the Cobra Powrtuner will resolve things.

Does yours even at idle sound loud like blowing air through it?

Not that it's really noticeable. Once it warms up, and is let to idle, it does not sound as
smooth as before I swapped out the stock air cleaner. Based on the exhaust color, it appears
to be running a bit richer.
Hmm...I might be sending you a clip of how mine sounds, it is def noticeable.

Listened to the clip that you posted, and Yep, mine sounds just like that. I did not think that
much about it though. I would tend to believe that the stock air box would muffle the air intake
noise. I've always installed cold air intakes on any PU truck I've had recently and it's the same
deal, more noise. I'm going to order the Cobra Powertuner. Will let you know how things work
with that.

Yeah that looks good too. Good I'm glad you have the same noise and I assumed as much since the air intake is fully encased on the stock that it would muffle the noise. Now that the intake is wide open, you are def going to hear more air flow.

Sounds like you may actually be leaned out with the extra air flow. I'd definitely recommend a programmer, or having the exhaust analyzed.
