Yes!! If you buy the same one I have you need the adaptor, otherwise it will be reading wrong RPM. Hooks into both coils and then in wiring to tach.Hey ,tach looks good,I am installing one on my 2011 Stryker and have yet to determine if the Stryker needs the adapter or not....Help.plz.
