Most likely if the battery is going dead after sitting for a few weeks, probably was not fully charged at the dealer when they sold you the bike. The charging system for a motorcycle is completely different from cars so they do not work the same. I had to charge mine with a 2 amp trickle charge overnight when I brought mine home.

Hey guys, how long can the battery sit without going dead on the stryker, I was reading in cruiser magazine that it will go completely dead in 2 weeks, that seems fast, I know most of us ride alot, but I was curios cause I am going on vacation. Thanks Guys !!!
