Hey! new to the forum so I apologize if there is already a thread about this. I've been playing with the idea of buying a set of the Battistini round Hole Grips bit I've heard mixed reviews about how comfortable they are. My handlebars are chrome so I won't have the problems with the mis-matched colors but there are times when my wife and I will take the bike out for a weekend trip, usually 3-6 hour rides and I'm a bit concerned that they will not be comfortable even with gloves. Any insights on these?? ;

I don't have the Battistini grips, but I do ride with solid aluminum grips. I occasionally experience light numbness after long periods of riding, but I was experiencing the same thing with the factory grips. I'm sure many here will recommend the ISO type grips, but I find the all aluminum grips plenty comfortable.

Yea I know just about 75% of people have the ISO grips. I'm sure they are comfortable but I'm just not a huge fan of how they look, the battistini grips just have that look that I'm looking for, but with the holes in them im worried about the long rides, maybe ill just take the chance with them, we'll see.

I always ride with gloves too so I shouldn't have too much of an issue I suppose, also I could get the throttle buddy too if it got to be too uncomfortable.

Moto...I've got a set of the black battistini grips on mine and I like them. They are not soft and comfy, but hey I'm not a [email protected]##y lol.

Seriously though, they take a little getting used to but I love the way they look and get lots of compliments on them. I'm going to get some matching pegs soon

they definitely have that perfect look that I want for the bike. I think I will have to get a set soon, maybe in a few weeks when i get a couple more paychecks. Ill have to post pics because I should be getting my plastics painted by then too.

Imortal did you get a metric set, or do the standard HD grips work? The reason I ask is there's a local HD shop that has a big box of the oval hole batt grips, that missed the polishing process. They are only $40 a set, and they have alot! Maybe I'll just take mine off and go match it up?

They are out there but under a different name. I think I saw them labeled as the gunner grips.. but I'm not 100%
