I bit the bullet and ordered my memphis shades batwing today , ordered for victory vegas, and mount for vegas. I got the 5'' shield. We just put a bullet fairing on my sons stryker(we have same bike, different mods) I hope the 5'' shield is ok, I'm 6' and I had no way to measure to simulate height so I went and demo rode a 2013 1300 tour delux with factory batwing from yamaha . It has a 9'' shield I think and I was looking through it not over it

5" shield will have the wind hitting you right in the face. Due to our raked out front end.

I am 5' 6" and I was using a 9" long rides shield with my MS Batwing. I found that to be just right. I could see over it and the wind flew over my head.

I'm 5'11 and have the Memphis shade fairing and HAD the 5" winshield on mine and it beat the h e l l out of me with the buffering. My sunglasses were bouncing all over my face and my skid lid was dancing on top of my head. I have a 11" LRS windshield and I look over my windshield.

Parts unlimited solo seat and parts unlimited low solo seat....... awesome seats in my opinion

I'm 6'3 and started out with the 5" because it looked good and I didn't know any better, lol. Did some upgrades to the suspension and measured this time going to a 9 inch. The 9 inch seemed ok at first but now I am thinking I will go taller once more. I would suggest getting the wind deflectors, they run about $25 and come in different colors. They expand the batwing to help cut down on any buffeting you might get from the sides.

The install is pretty straight forward. 4 clamps on the forks and adjust as necessary.

I ordered the 11" dark tint recurve and I'm still able to look over the windshield. ... I love it
