We see this way to often ,
So tonight I go see my wife and daughter ,have a Great evening with them .
Then on the way home I see it AGAIN !!! Motorcycle vs car and as usual rider lost . It was a straight stretch of city road well lit ,nothing to block the drivers view on the sidewalk before the road . And the car pulls right out in front of him . Says never saw the motorcycle . Just puts a sick pit in your stomach . It makes me sick l to see someone laying in the road ,knowing they won't be going home to see their family tonight . ( The only good thing is they can go see him , even though it is in the hospital he is still alive )
It only takes one mistake from a driver or us ( motorcyclist) and it could all be over . This is not going to make me sell my bike it's just another reminder how PRECIOUS LIFE IS and how quickly it can be changed forever or taken away .
I just want to say to EVERYONE "Always be alert and becareful , there is someone that wants you to come home safe"
GOD BLESS and BE SAFE EVERYONE ,MAY WE ALL MAKE IT HOME .

This is why I am SO grateful I have Toby to ride with. I NEVER go out alone. He is ALWAYS with me. He sticks to my flank like a burr, and it is a lot harder for some dipshit cager to say "I didn't see him" when it is TWO full sized cruisers riding tandem or side by side.
I am ultra cautious, and he stays with me so close in city driving we are almost one machine and one mind at times. He is that good. He knows how I will react/move/adjust to a given situation even before I do at times.
I give thanks for having him in my life every day, many times a day. My God gifted guardian angel. Be safe out there people.

always sad to see, one weekend I went out early before the heat and saw a sport bike almost torn in half on a metal guard rail.. unfortunantely that guy didn't have the same luck, apparently had went out drinking and lost control the night before. nobody saw anything until the morning
