hello, looking for the lowest profile polo style dot helmet on the market any ideas??

ZOX Helmets. Think they make the smallest DOT legal helmets. I have two and they are pretty small. The police have pulled me over twice to check it. ;D

Voss helmets are pretty cool I have a German style, and I know they make a little Jockey helmet. They have alot better padding in them than most. DOT, dont they all come with a sticker? :

Because here the law says you have to. If it was legal to not wear them, then I would agree.

Basically they keep you from getting pulled over for no helmet. Thats about it? I have a full face when I want it, but I cant ride here without a helmet

We weren't advocating not wearing a helmet, just pointing out that a helmet that small is basically worthless as far as protecting your noggin.

IMMORTAL. I understood what you ment, didn't think you were trying to be a smart ass. . I believe these companies make helmets like this for riders like me, who have to wear them by law, but would not wear a helmet if they were allowed.

MY LIFE: you hit it right on the nose. Law says you have to have one on, but we would rather not. But we follow rules and are looking the best posible way around this and still be legal!!!!

I bought mine from the HD dealer. Its gloss black, doesn't say HD anywhere on it. Super smalll and no bib. Straight line cut around the bottom. I can get a pic tomorrow if you like.

Ok, well you confused me because myself and midlife are both well aware of helmet laws, as we have one in Texas. And, what you wear or don't is your business...just seems silly if you HAVE to wear a helmet to not wear one that will at least do you some good if you go down.
