I know this has been covered but I'm looking into lowering my bike 2" so I'm looking for alittle help as to what's the best and easiest route and still be able to put a 240 or 250 tire in the future...

L&M sells lowering springs. It may not be the easiest but its probably the safest. I also saw a post yesterday of someone putting in a couple of lowering brackets that they picked up on ebay. Will try to find it.

Hey mike, BARONS makes the dog bones that have 3 settings on them 1) stock, 2) 1 inch, 3) 2 inch lowering holes on them, installed them on my bike I'm not planning on going with a bigger tire just yet. Low &Mean suggests not running a bigger tire with the dog bones, the tire could rub and cause the tire to lock up on ya, they offer a spring that lowers the bike and is stiff enough to keep it from rubbing the tire.
