Pretty self explanatory. I need a new tire, I want a 240 but is that a good idea? I do a lot of highway miles, this tire has 7000 miles on it and only 2000 from me, no burn outs, how do I avoid this problem in the future? Please post links to good tires if you know from personal experience that it's a good one. Much appreciated! Also, how difficult is it to change the tire yourself?

There have been NUMEROUS threads on 240's. Try doing a search. I personally run the Avon 240 and I love it. The mileage you get out of a tire depends on several things...riding style, road conditions, proper air pressure, riding solo or 1+ ect

Who cares about tires??? Where can I get cheap prescription medicines??? If only there was an informative forum to help me!!??? LOL!!! (actually, I agree totally with skwerlee, there are too many variables to compare one vs. another)

Basically word of mouth in your area...........Toby gets 3-4000 in his area while others say 8-10,000. On my VTX I consistently got 10,000 from my Dunlops. Others hated them and only got 5000. :-\
