So today was the first real day I have put any miles on my bike and o noticed I need to adjust the load on the suspension to compensate for my 6'3 280# ass. Does anyone have any insight on how this is done or what setting I should use?

There is a special wrench that is used on it. I just took mine in at the 500 mile oil change and told them to increase the preload 2 clicks. That changed it for me anyway, and I'm 6' 250 lbs.
Thanks. I wonder if the wrench is my bag of goodies. Its going to need to be done before then if I value my kidneys lol.

Stryker is a lot nicer ride than the Honda I had but it did need a little tweak. After had the adjustment done I rode right around 200 mi round trip at 70-110 mph and back felt just fine.... Did you receive the wrench for the mono shock? Owners manual sorta made it sound like it came with the bike.

I'm sure the wrench is here somewhere. I know I got a tool kit with the manual but never looked in it and there is a bag under the seat which I never looked at yet either. To busy working, adding stuff to the bike and now with the warmer weather riding! ;D . I have some stuff coming this week and a long weekend from work so it's all on the list of to do's. The dealer said it is set at #4 which is a 185# rider so I think a 7 would be ok, get used to that before going up any further for when the wife goes with me. Glad I figured it out before asking her to go along...

I tried to adjust the shock but couldn't move it. Neither could the dealer. They said they'd adjust it with the wheel off when I came in for a new tire. I said that may be in about 10 years. I have 2700 miles on it in just over a year. HaHa Has anyone been able to adjust it without removing the rear tire ?

Yes. Remove right side panels and go in from there. Use the extension that comes in the kit. May help also to take some of the weight off the rear end. But mine moved without doing that.

The tool does not come in the tool kit under the seat but the dealer should have handed one to you with the manual when you picked up your bike. I could not get mine to move but the mechanic at the dealer did it in the parking lot while just on the kick stand but it was a little difficult. I had it set all the way to #1 because I'm 150lbs and the roads I ride on are quite bumpy. When I put a lowering kit on and took it to get a tire I asked the mechanic to stiffen it back up a couple notches but he could not get it to move after several tries. And it was on his lift where he could manipulate the weight around. Neither mechanics needed to remove anything to get to the adjuster. Still not sure why he could not get it to move but I will have to stiffen it up before I ride 2 up.

I was just at my dealers looking over my new bike and he showed me under the seat is 2 tool kits one for on road that is strapped in, and the other for in garage. I assume that one has the expander tool. Also had manual under seat. Just so you know.
