Was looking at buying the V&H big Radius exhaust for my stryker, and was wondering if the fuel pak is necessary? what would be the consequences of not using the fuel pak? Any answers or suggestions would be great

Fuel management isn't necessary if you're just doing an exhaust system. If you do both the exhaust and a BAK *big air kit* you'll need some fuel management. That being said there are much better options out there than the Fuel Pak that V&H offers.

Son had no problems with just Big Radius Pipes all last year with no programmer. He just added his homemade BAC permanently and added the Cobre FI 2000o2

I'm running the Vance and Hines 2 into 2 Big Radius for almost a year now and do not have any additional fuel management additions. As others have already said, if you start changing the intake later on then yes, fuel management will more than likely become and issue and should be installed at the same time when able.

I have a 2012 Stryker and adding V&H Big Radius without a fuel programmer caused severe popping during deceleration so I definitely recommend one. Also when adding a programmer under the seat I recommend removing the tank during installation. It only takes a few extra minutes but gives a much better view of the work area and helps with the very limited hand clearance.

So you made the connection under the seat without removing the tank? I was told the tank had to be removed? I have a 2012 model, Thanks
I think you need to remove the bolts by the seat and tilt the tank to get to the injector connections. Even then it's supposed to be very tight. Small hands or long needle node pliers help.
Removing the tank would make it a lot easier to do the injector connections but of course then you have to remove the tank... Could be a wash.
I have some wiring that needs to be routed up front so once I do that project I'll be able to say for sure how much of a pain removing the tank is. Others have done it for painting so maybe they will chime in...
