What mods are going to give you the most power. Intakes.....exhaust...... brands and does anyone have numbers to back up their claims because of course the one you have gives the most power. That's why I want numbers. I'm aware that both intakes and exhausts will I'm talking different brands and models of each.

I just don't think many people have had their bike on a dyno. I think there will be more info after this year. Just more owners in general. Not every one has the cash for a dyno session or access to a free dyno. Plus for this bike how much power is realistically obtainable. I got mine to cruise and be loud lol :) I have a feeling you'll have a solid answer by the end of the summer.

With the advent of the autotune products, most are not doing the dyno. I have the autotune and I felt a huge power difference and that is all that matters to me. It sounds, feels and moves better than stock and not worth my money just to get a number.

The reason I want fo know is so I know what setup will give me the most nang for my buck. Ya know
Any reputable exhaust, intake, and auto tune fuel management will give you big performance gains. The main differences between the different exhaust systems are looks and sound...i think all of the intakes do pretty much the same thing as well so it's really about what kind of look you prefer.

As with the Raider ... any combo exhaust/air bolt-ons are all within a few hp and tq of each other.

Exhaust im gonna go w vance and hines being most bang simply be dx ause large radious and the power port. Intakes is more where my curiosity flares because. You would think any eith more air equals more power but what one takes in the most air and applys it correctly to your intake for smooth delivery. And big gains?

So my other deal is. Why havent the manufacturers tested hp gains how do you know your product is truely added hp and tq if you font have numbers as proof I think the ones that did this would be very successful from people like me that have to see to believe

The biggest difference between pipes and intakes is the looks. If there is a difference in hp between the aftermarket exhausts/intakes it won't be enough for you to notice. I can say though from my experience, I noticed a considerable difference after installing the exhaust... even better with the tuner.... and to finish it off was the intake which made a little increase in throttle response and the bike gets up and goes ALOT easier..lol..

Go with what you like and you won't be dissappointed. Hope that helps. Good luck

I think the air intakes are all pretty comparable and any flow rate differences would only be negligible. It's my understanding that the free "full air-box mod" flows as much as buying an expensive aftermarket performance intake.

I agree with what's being said. When you're talking about a couple Hp's in difference between intake/exhaust setups compared to the gains from the stock setup, you really won't notice the difference. Like Urban said, go with what you like as far as looks and/or price, and you'll be satisfied with the results.

Simple answer is they don't need to. Bikers are buying them for looks, sound and what ever gain they can get. The manufactures don't have to show or prove anything to make sales. For the individuals who want proof, I guess they don't need them to survive because they are few and far between. Like most say any combination will give gains. For the air intake the rule of thumb is the more air sucked in the better. Good luck, but " Just Conform and assimilate" ;D

I have rush exhaust, cobra Powerflo, and cobra programmer and my bike dynoed at 81hp/86tq. The guy thinks he can squeeze more out of it but their air fuel sensor was out on their dyno so he just did a few runs. I'm not sure what they dyno at stock but it feels pretty quick with that combo
