That's a nice looking cover, if i needed one that is the one i think i would buy. I myself dont plan to use a cover, had one for my last bike and found it to be a pain to be puttin it on and off during the winter to work on the bike and in the summer i ride to much to even bother. It turned out to be a waste of money for me.

My kids also know to not even touch my bike, If i so much as even see a finger print on the bike that doesnt match my hand, someone is getting an ear full. They stay clear. In my situation I am the Dad and Dad is the Boss well really the Boss next to the Boss. In your case, I dont think you can be yelling at your Dad so a cover is a great idea. ;)

Ive tried yelling, it gets me no where! ;D Rolling chairs against it, lawn mower handle against it.....Like really, cant give me one foot of space..its tucked off in the corner, bad enough you dont ask me to move it when you go use the table saw or band saw..(yes covered in sawdust!)...its not a cheap toy damnit! So yeah I guess next route is cover...

I bought one of the motorcycle covers from walmart around 20 bucks and it works great I think I got the XL its alittle loose around the handlebars because it will cover a windshield but fits the rest of the bike well and its a great cover for the price.

Hmmm, 20 buckeroos... Yea, that's a price I could pay for one even if I dont use it much... Gonna have to go check them out.

Wes,
You and me are in the same boat. I live in a condo with no garage and my pops was kind enough to let me use his garage. There is plenty of room but had to stick it in the corner. I do not get it. He loves the look of my bike but loves every inch of that garage it seems. When I was a kid he was always preaching about taking care of my toys. Now, I am trying to and he keeps wanting me to move it closer and closer to the wal with a bunch of junk that can fall on it. Then over the week he put some filthy old blankets over it. I told him I was just going to rent some storage and he got so mad. I love the old man but he sure can be a pill. I got some nice clean blankets to cover it. He is almost blind so I do not think he noticed yet. I think I am gonna get that Star cover thougg, looks nice.

I was able to pick this one up from a guy that sold his bike. Very well built, and keeps it out of elements. It's perfect I pull up, take my helmet off and close it up and go home.

I live in a gated community that doesn't allow motorcycles ( yet, but thats a whole different subject and honestly pisses me off ). But they do have a parking area in a secure location.

If you park your bike outside I strongly recommend this. Even comes with a 5 year warrenty.

Holy Crap, $375+ ?!! It doesn't say anything about being safe when exhaust is hot, does it? When I clicked on the link, I was expecting a hardened enclosure, not a tent!! Anyway, I don't need one, but if I did, I think I'd be looking at the Walmart one, but I'm cheap that way!!! Best of luck!

lol... actually your exhaust doesn't even tough the side. I did have one of the Walmart ones and it melted to the exhuast. I don't have the time or paitents to wait around for the bike to cool off. Like I said it is pricey, but well worth it.

Well, I'm all about "the easy button", so park and cover would be my style, but I solved the parking situation by kicking the wife's car out of the 2.5 car garage, just leaving my car and my Stryker! (hey, before you judge me, her car has remote start, mine doesn't!!) Still like the idea of a hardened clam-shell "pod", if you will, perhaps made from fiberglass. That way you'd be safe from dents, too!!

Mines almost blind as well, hence the occasional "bumping" into it..
