Well, after deciding that I did like the speedo partially blacked out, I also painted the headlight & key housings, as well as the tank strip. While I know I need to clean up the lines with a razor, here are the results (keep in mind I have left part of the chrome as an accent that follows the flow of the bike):

Thank you, I used plasti-dip spray can in flat black. No primer underneath...this way, if I choose to remove it I can without issue. It will still have that brand new looking chrome beneath since it is being protected against the elements, sand, glass, whatever is on the roadway, etc. Lol :) Here are some more pics...
