This is the first mod I did on My Raven. Looks so much better all blacked out than the chrome accents IMO.

I like the all blacked out look too. Did you have to scuff up the chrome to get the paint to stick?

Used some sandpaper to scuff it up. As well as used a plastic primer.

Rattle cans from home depot. The black was high heat gloss. I bought flat and gloss. I was going to use the flat for the top engine covers but didnt liked the way it looked. Ended up using the gloss on everything.

Did you use clear coat? Did you sand all the chrome off of just scuffed? If you tried picking at it does it chip?

No clear coat. Just scuffed it up and it didnt chip any.

Yes I will probably be going Saturday. Maybe the weather will get a little warmer and I could ride this year.
