I saw mention of this in another thread and felt it warranted some discussion. I am looking for a bluetooth for the helmet so I can listen to my music whilst cruizing on the two wheels. I really haven't found many good reviews of any of these kits. I have been looking into the Blinc M1 but again not many reviews.

So, who is using them? What models? and how does it work for you?

My husband and I use the scala rider set for bike to bike and satnav and phone. They can be removed from the helmet for charging and last about 5 hours. Really good

I have a Vega V-Tune full face with integrated bluetooth. It works well. My only complaint is it could stand to be a little louder for music. I can even answer calls and talk while cruising down the highway at 80. My wife says she can hear me perfectly.

I would have to say hands down the Scala Rider G4 Headset is the best out their.... i Had the O'Neal Triade Helmet for a few months but it stopped working on me when making calls but the mp3 still worked.... Someone recommended the Scala and it peaked my interest so i went online to do my research and saw this video

after watching the video i had to have one... I browsed around and found a pair for a really good price and i use it all the time now. I love the fact that you can attach it to any helmet and if it goes out on you you still have a helmet and can remove the headset and not have a bulk attached beside you that doesnt work..... and you can connect it to you PC and download updates as they come also.......

I love the ONEAL TIRADE. I have no problem talking on the phone, playing the FM radio, using helmet to helmet intercom, listening to music, using GPS etc..... Through this helmet. I purchased it from a co-worker for $150. Some people have complained about talking at 80MPH. I usually just listen to music and concentrate on the road at that speed...not talk on the phone. So for me it works GREAT!

Same here, I ride my bike to work alot (50 miles one way) and I always have voicemails when I stop. Would love to be able to deal with those calls while riding.

I have been doing some research on these sets and this G4 looks to be the best. I am wondering if I need the best or not? As far as I can tell, the Q2 appears to be the same as the G4 but doesnt have the range the G4 has. Right now the extra $70 for the extra .5 mile of range seems to be the way I am leaning. That's for the sets. Looks like they rake you for just a single headset.

For the ones that do have a bluetotooth for their helmet, do you wear earplugs with it. When the full face is on the exhaust sounds resonates inside the helmet making it hard to hear. So I guess my question is, canyou still hear the music clearly at all speeds?
