So, has anyone eliminated the rear fender all together? I've seen some Raiders online and other big tire bikes with the bare rear end and a spriger seat. I like the look of naked bikes but I'd like it even better if somebody else makes the mistakes for me up front ;P I like the L&M Rear fender but theres something just a hair off from the side veiw of it. I'm thinking of a small flush Bobber type fender attached to the swingarm. Any Opinions?

I think it would look pretty good. If blue collar bobbers made a kit I would be all over it. If you have never seen their site they make rear fender and seat kits for metric bikes-

Oh that's too funny someone else is thinking like I am. If the funds fell into place I was thinking about having a chopper shop I found mod the swing arm to accept a 300 then chop the rear frame and use a swing arm style fender. I'm just afraid it would end up looking like the rocker

I'm glad you pointed out the Rocker, now I know what kind seat to adapt so that I can still carry my wife! It's on now. I see what your saying tho. My bike isnt a daily driver tho so I think I'll go totally fenderles and put some LED brake n turn signals at the end of the swingarm. I also want to put a fatter front tire on. Nothing crazy extreme but def noticable and some more forward sitting handlebars...There better be nothin but bike parts under my tree this christmas!! lol

That's what I had thought of was a removable pededstal seat where the frame of it would go into some type of receiver. I don't know how exactly they did it on the rocker, looks kinda goofy but solo it looks pretty good. A place just had 2 rockers 1 set up for passenger and other for solo, so I don't know if you add passenger seat or if the driver and passenger are just one seat. I guess if you are always 2 up I don't really matter

works. The star V1300 has the same frame as the stryker. The only thing is that we have to cut out the fender frame for the shorty to work. I'm waiting to see the out come. He's taking a lot of pics of the setup. I would rather have someone do it first and show how its really done. Check out the link:

I don't think the Stryker, Raider or the Victory lend themselves to being a bobbed ... but that's just my personal opinion.

Update....pitched it to the ol' lady....she said if I take her down south for a week in March/April I can get a project bike!

WIN WIN! Lie on a beach, drink beer and watched tanned chicks play volleyball.....and get a project bike to turn into a bad a$$ bobber!
