Was at Tousley Motorsports this evening and saw that had a couple BRAND NEW 2008 and 2009 Walliors for sale. Price was around $8000. Not sure where they found these but it sure did seem odd seeing a 4 year old brand new bike on the showroom floor.

Ya yamaha has a bunch of older "New" bikes out there. My dad got his new 2008 yamaha 1700 Roadstar in 2010 and got a steal on it. If you good with your dealer you can tell him to check the warehouse for older bikes still in the crate and usually get a good deal on them.

I didn't realize there was so much old inventory out there. Seems like it would make it tough to sell the new inventory when you have "new" 2-4 year old bikes out there for $5k off.

With the economy so bad during the last few years, there is a lot of new still left in inventory.

I know a friend who picked up a 2007 Ninja 1000cc in 09 with no miles. He got a heck of a deal. So, they're out there. Never seems I can find them when I want them and find them when I can't afford them.

The reason your getting them at a low price is the resale will be based on the year. So once it goes off the floor the resale is low. But if your going to keep the bike its the best deal out there. Almost bought a 3 year old NEW Victory, before I bought my Stryker.
