Bullet fairing from westendmotorsports arrived today. No six week backorder on the state-side, plus got waved through Customs so didnt even have to pay tax. Hope rain stops soon so I can see how she feels, she looks sharp.

Pix at top of thread.

Boolshot - Instructs said top tube-clamp would be 1/2 inch from top, which is where I started, and then kept moving down inch at a time. Its hard to judge until you install fairing and flip in up into place, but ended up with bottom clamp being 1 inch from bottom, and the 2 inch space between them is correct. Dont tighten the 4 tube brackets until its in place, as need the wiggle all of them to get it just right.

I'll snap more pix tomorrow and post the bracket closeups.
Cheers.

Not too bad, relatively speaking. Just keep the brackets loose so you can twist as needed. Took me about half an hour, including 5 adjustments downwards as I followed the 1/2 from top instruction.

When I installed mine I loosely put on the clamps, attached the fairing, aligned it the way I wanted it. then tightened down the clamps on the tube. Didn't take long. The instructions weren't very helpful. The measurements were a bit off.

Got mine today and went ahead and installed it. The fit is what you make it, but overall I really like it. It flows well with the bike and covers up the cables and key. But my one complant is how the finish is. It really needs to be painted to match the color of the bike. The plastic seems to have that unfinished raw look to it and im suprised no one has said anything about it before. I am planing on painting it along with my engine chrome pieces over winter. Anyway here is a photo for fun....

Rode 1300km on weekend and fairing did just what I want. Enough air to keep me cool, but wind off my chest at highway speeds. If Santa leaves me cash for custom paint, I'll be all set. 8)

You might want something taller. I'm 5'3, so that tagline of "you ride in a stryker not on it" really fits me. Not sure how much deflection it would do for a tall guy.
