Reading through the Airhawk discussion, I noticed that a few of you have and seem to like the Butty Buddy. I'm curious about which model you are running, the over the seat model or the direct to the fender (suction cup) model. I'm interested in one for the wife and the one that attaches right to the fender seems most secure but I thought I'd ask the class for their experience.

Thanks in advance.

I have the over the seat model for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I have the Mustang wide vintage seat and while it was comfortable, after her fall down the stairs her tailbone is very sensitive to pressure even months after (and she's not even 30). Anyway the design of the BB is such that it is concave and distributes the weight much better over the whole sitting area. Most motorcycle passenger seats are straight or convex and put a lot of pressure on the tail bone.

Before getting the BB, even a 20 minute ride could cause her discomfort. After, well we did a 6 day trip with almost 2300kms and not one complaint! She was never stiff or sore when riding or when she got off. I can't speak for every issue with passenger discomfort, but this was a miracle for my wife and I and she can now enjoy ridin' *****! haha
