I took it too a local shop I know and they sanded it off and painted it.

I just took the tank off and brought it to them and the radiator cover and fender they painted it for $160.00

Common guy, I'm pretty fond of my flames! LOL!!! That was one of the main attractions of the bike for me. I agree however that your raven looks really, really good blacked out without the wings!

Same here i could not wait to get them off i tried to take them off myself and if i messed up it did not matter had every intention of getting it painted!

Yep I like the black tribal flame graphic on my copper tank. something about a black graphic on a copper-reddish tank that appeals to me.

The Wings and Exhaust were the things i hated about the bike. Had to be the first to go !!!

yes i agree. a buddy at my work is telling me to get rid of them, which i probably will eventually. i discovered the problem. if you're close up on the bike they look cool cuz you can see the detail of the design. problem is, most will see the bike at a distance. and at a distance they just look like some gray lines. on a dark, smoked out bike.
