I’m curious if anyone has gotten their Stryker to do a wheelie while moving (not from a burnout). Wondering if it is physically possible with the frame/wheel dynamics of the bike. One of the first things I tried to do back when I got the bike was roll the throttle to lift the front wheel but there was nothing there. All my previous sport bikes would stand straight up doing this. Anyone had any luck? I plan to test this again after I get my mods on and more power. And before the Search Police bash me I read all 5 threads on “wheelies” from last year and didn’t get the discussion I was after…

4 " is best I did without trying and only lasted for a moment. Was from a rolling start in 1st.

I have done a couple of accidental wheelies, once while trying to do a burnout from a light ( lardass effect) and once while turning right and up and over a slight inline/ drop off, thought it would be cool to gun it and scared myself ****less so not as fun as a planned wheelie but the guy that pulled up next to that saw it said it looked cool

yeah I read that burnout post of yours from last year. I think that would be a very scarey way to make the front wheel come up because when the rubber grabs pavement things happen too fast. If you can’t make it happen with horsepower then it probably shouldn’t be done.

I have video proof of how almost impossible it is. (experienced rider Trying to do it) I don't want to start anything, but we intentionally tried to get the wheel up. Only thing working against us was the Elevation killing a bit of power.

I don't think it's gonna happen. Take your averager R6, GSXR 600, ZX6.........Call 'em 450 lbs and 100 HP, so power to weight ration of 0.22. The Stryker; something like 650 lbs and 70 HP (stock), so P:W is 0.11 - so half! Couple that with the fact that the Styker has a wheelbase over a foot longer than a stock sportbike and the 21" hoop hanging on the end of the forks is doing all it can to conform with gravity.

Even with the taller gears in a sportbike, I just don't see it happening. The physics of it all are not conducive to wheelies.

Is it me or does that wheelie look foolish on the raider? I bought my Stryker to cruise the roads. Never in a hurry, always enjoying the view, leaving all my work issues in the garage before I leave. BTW if you have enough hp you could wheelie just about anything. Take a little air out of your rear tire, pop the clutch and hang on! You're gonna wheelie...

If you could get it to stand up, can you imagine how hard it would come down, say after you freeked out the first time and stomped on the brake? I've had a sportbike up in the air where your looking down the fork tubes to see where your going, scared the crap outta me the first time, think I blew the seals setting it down! Stryker would feel like it was gonna brake in half,if it didn't!
