I got the car tire on my stryker. A 225/45-18 works well. Here is the post I did on Dark side web site, with pics.

OK thanks ,What brand is that 225?szabla said:I live in western, co. I ride the Colorado twisties including 550, but the way I ride is though Gateway to Ridgeway and then to Durango. I ride the river road to Moab when it gets cold. I run solo, and I keep up with my wife riding her Miata. The bike has stock shocks and I have no problem doing 1000+ mile days. I have run the Alcan to Alaska and back, this on a car tire on my beemer.
This bike feels even better that the Beemer. Yes, I ride highways and back roads. If it is in front of me, I have no problem riding it.
That's right I looked it up once already. I think they are about $150.00. That's not a lot of savings over the Avon 240. I wonder if it wold be the right tire for me on these tire shredding roads up here. I guess I wont know until I try it.Alaskanmonte said:It is a General Gmax AS-03. NOTE: I cheated and looked in the link ;D.
If that's the Gmax on that car maybe it would be good on the Stryker for some hard cornering on rough roads? lol.SmokenJOE said:Looks good on the side wall too.
Agree...it looks like ass, and I don't mean that in the good kinda wayToby said:I really don't like the way it looks but I am looking for a solution to me burning through bike tires in 3 to 6 thousand miles on 3 different bikes with 3 different brands of tires so please keep us posted.
Ya that's my concern. Because that's all I do up here is watch sharp turn after sharp turn and then another one.WLFPAK65 said:Watch them sharp turns bra!! Thats Y Theirs Disclaimers when modding lol
