So i believe that i am occasionally having carb farts, now that is the term for carbed bikes not sure on a EFI bike. Anyway it pops occasionally out of the breather at startup, nothing bad and it sounds just like the popping in the exhaust during decel. From what i have read its due to a lean mix, does anyone else have any experience with this issue. I am running a cobra slipon, la choppers air filter assembly, and ejk tuner at the preset stage one setting.. I cant reach ejk as it's a weekend. Thanks

I have the exact same set up but with the power commander 5 and have the same issues with the blow back or puff of air or backfire (whatever it would be called)coming from the intake. It usualy only happens with me when the bike is a litle cold when I first start up and take off. I also noticed the loss of power on the low end. top end is great.
I just ordered the auto tune for the pcv today hoping it would help. The map that is in it now was professionally dyno tuned

Any answers on what this is and how to correct it would be great...or maybe its normal stuff but I would at least like to get the low end torque back

I just spoke with techlusion as i have the ejk tuner. The tech informed me that the carb fart is a result of a lean condition. This is the same as if you had a carb instead of efi on your bike. He told me how to adjust my tuning accordingly to resolve the issue and how to get the setting correct without doing a plug read.
You start by bringing the rpm up to around 1500 and then for the ejk you set the green light down to 0.5 while still holding the throttle in the same position. Next start bringing the green light up 0.5 at a time. When u get to a point where is smooths out running you keep going until it starts to run bad. Then back off to a smooth run point again. This assures that the tuner was at the best position/adjustment

I went from 1.5 green to 2.5 and no more issues as of yesterday, bike used to be sluggish taking off, that problem is now gone as well. Time will tell if this has completely solved the carb fart.

Well thats prety good information. At least that gives me a direction. I just got my auto tuner for the pcv in so ill be installing it tomorrow morning. That should fix the lean problem. I also looked at the custom map the shop put in and did a little educational reading and saw that some of the numbers seemed a liitle high so lean makes sense.
As far as low end torque loss...I think changing the front pulley to 30 tooth would help bring some back by moving the rpm range down with the regearing. that will be next week i guess.
Someone to give a little already experienced guidance would be good to hear.
