With the weather turning colder I have been looking into extending my season with the correct gear. Anyone using or recommend a good pair of chaps or overpants. Also how do you order sizing? Are they comfortable/easy to get off?

I got rain/cold weather overpants, but really I dont' like them because I have to take my shoes off to get them on and off. I may have to try chaps but at my roundness working a zipper the full length of my legs is a challenge (picture bowling ball with chaps). Now I've thought about the half chaps... will have to try those I guess and see if I like them...

Jafrum has some nice stuff just be cautious of sizes. I ordered a Jean vest from them at a L and couldn't even get it on. I sent it back for a XL and that is snug too.

This is true. From the user reviews I've read you'll need to add 2 inches to your thigh measurement for their chaps...then they'll fit great.

hahahahaha, I did a charity ride this past weekend and some guy was wearing one of those rubber butts that you can buy around halloween, had it hanging thru his chaps, I was about 4 bikes behind him and every time we'd take a turn I'd get a glimpse of that thing, I was chuckling for 50 miles.
