Dang, Glad you found that before it left you stranded on the road or worse... I would send that picture to PCS and see what they say. It sure looks to be a cheap brake line that is breaking down.
Check your brake lines
So I was measuring my brake lines last night so I could order new ones from Spiegler and I came across this. ** See Pic** This is the brake line was part of the Pacific Coast Star (PCS) 3" extension kit. I would recommend checking the rubber line if you also purchased the same one. I'm not sure if it's just a cheap line that is starting to breakdown or the heat from the exhaust has caused this. I'm glad I caught this now, instead of it blowing out while I riding.
