Hi Guys , i am new here ( by the way - just bought my Stryker one week ago and love it :) i am about to buy a windshield for it , i like very clean look - and i saw a Boulevard™ Windshield which is the smallest and in my opinion best looking windshield of all - but my question is ? How much wind dose this windshield deflects ? Any one have this installed ? and what is your experience with it ? Dose your face still got hit wit the wind when riding ? Thank You for all the info in advance .

I also have the boulevard windshield. It is really just for looks and does not deflect much wind. However, I am going to add the rifle windshield to the boulevard mounts. The rifle is a replacement windshield, so you would need to buy the boulevard windshield and then the rifle windshield which comes in 3 sizes. There are a couple people with this windshield and they say its like night and day.

I have the boulevard windshield on my bike, and yes you will get the wind in your face, but it will be off your chest, which is what I wanted. I have also just put 3 washers between the bottom bracket, and the windshield to move the top out a bit. It did eliminate quite a bit of the buffeting on my head, but didn't really move the air flow any higher on my body. So far i like it spaced out like it is, may find some longer screws, and try it a little farther out.

I don't even have one, but I remembered this post which has a video that seems helpful for deciding height

Great thread, really thinking about going this route. How would I know what size shield I need. I am 5'7" if that helps.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNazLUctvzI http://www.longrideshields.com (video as well on Long Rides site) these will help you... if you're going with the batwing though and don't know the measurement of it's height you may want to get it first or convince one of us to measure ours then measure above that to get your size windshield. :D
