I got bored yesterday and started getting crazy with the hacksaw.
I cut my plastic fender up and made a side mount plate bracket.
I just have to figure out how to get some lights on it now.

I don't think it turned out too bad. Should hold me over until I buy the low and mean integrated taillight.

Not too bad at all. The only concern I would have is that bracket being able to swivel from vibrations and getting tangled in the rear pulley. Could make for a very bad day. I would try to find a secondary way to attach it that will prevent it from rotating.

It seems pretty stable but I too am worried about the thing pivoting. I might just pick up a smallish piece of steel cut a slot in it, bend it on a 90 and weld it too the thing I made so it can be attached to the axle bolt.
The pipes are cobra dragsters so no I did not make them.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Ps: the dog thinks she was helping. This is where she moved after laying on all my tools and bolts I had laying behind the bike.

You could just put a 1/2" sheet metal screw in the end cover right above the nut holding the bracket on. That would be a lot easier than welding something on the side.
