So I ordered a set of Chrome Glow signals and a flasher relay 2 days ago. Through the check out process I had to pay $39 for shipping to Canada. For the same order shipped in the US its $8.99

Anyway, I sucked it up and ordered the lights. Today I get an email from Chromeglow saying they want an additional $31.56 for additional shipping charges. Over $70 to ship two LED strips and a flasher relay!! I mean I know us Canadians have to pay more for shipping but this is outrageous.

I guess I'll be putting the stock signals back on :tsk:

It's pretty simple. I put the bike on jack so i could raise the front end. With it level I loosened the four pinch bolts raised a little and slid the forks down just enough to get the lights on. Lowered the bike slowly working the forks back up. Made sure they were even and re-tightened the bolts

Yeah I know, tried to order last year ... Ridiculous shipping price. They even were quite rude while trying to negociate that shipping price. I have boycotted them from my shops ... Few of my friends also. If they do not want canadian business they can say so. I am buying all my mods from the US ... Never had an issue ...But it seems that working with leds affect the business sense related brains cells.

They do not realize how many sales they are losing.

Yeah I found that they're email replies were less than polite as well. I can't believe that they wanted $70 to ship two LED strips and a relay. I went to CC ordered a bunch of stuff and got it all shipped for a **** of a lot less.

Seems some companies do not want to deal with shipping to Canada so they jack up shipping to us. Same as you, I buy a lot of stuff online from the US and 90% of the time it is hassle free. Either straight up say you don't ship to Canada or give us some shipping rates that are reasonable and not as much as the item we're buying. $70 to ship a 1lb parcel. What a joke.

Shipping to Canada is insanely expensive an not the fault of chrome glow. I had to swap out some helmet pads for a different size from a Canadian seller.. I went to return the wrong size back to the seller in Canada and the cost to ship back was like $36 but it only cost the seller $6 to send it to me. I gave up. The return value was only $49. I would have had $13 left after the return less the shipping cost so I just kept them figured I would ebay them instead. Not sure why the shipping costs are so different depending on which shipping direction.

In this case it is Chrome Glow's fault. 2 months ago I was charged half of what he is. We're in the same province, they're screwing him
