Hello, I'm wanting to chrome my wheels and came across this company called True finish plating, out of Orange county California.

Has anyone heard of them, are they any good, how's their quality of product they put out? They are out of California, so I'm just needing your all's opinion on if they are a good company or move on to another company. I saw they have a 2 year warranty on there chrome.

Any help would be great...

Hey I had mine done in cali as well, but haven't heard of the chrome shop you asked about. I can tell ya cali has some of the best chromers in my opinion in the country. Just with these rims you have to make sure they are sanding out the casting marks prior to chrome. I can put you intouch with someone..you can get these on an exchange basis so you have little to no downtime, or you can send them in minus the bearings and wait a few weeks..just depends on how you want to go. should be about 700 assuming things haven't changed much..I did mine last year..pics a plenty around with my bike.

This is what I found, but know I'm starting to spin my wheels in a different direction thanks to my friends I ride with. They said synergy green paint, black rims and painting the inserts green.
But i don't have an artist eyes to save my life. I have chrome exhaust on order but now I'm thinking switch to the black big radius 2/2 and paint my chrome black or should I leave the chrome......

Anyone with PhotoShop able to take a black stryker wheel and paint the inserts green and another the same but paint the lip as well.

Thanks to my friends this morning at work, I went from wanting chrome rims, pulley, hub, rotors to wanting to paint my wheels black then painting the inserts synergy green and now I'm thinking chrome rims with the inserts painted synergy green. Help me computer savvy people of the forum that have PhotoShop.......
I just got to decide soon, I have my vance and hines big radius 2/2 chrome suppose to come in August or I need to cancel the order and try to find the black version of that pipe.

What your all's opinion...... I'm more confused that ever now on Chrome or paint.

What did you have chromed, how long did they have your wheels, cost?
The prices are on eBay. I would have to dig out the exact prices for certain parts, because I don't know off-hand. It has taken about 6 weeks to get the stuff ready. Matt, the owner, has been super easy to work with and has no problem taking his time to explain what is going on. We will see how the whole experience works out.

I am actually having them do several things to the bike - rear wheel widened to 8.5" and chroming on wheels, pulley, hubs, bolts + polished rotors + Metzeler tires + Lowering Links + Speigler Brake Lines + Full Install at their shop.

My bike is basically stock except for the cobra chrome intake and the cobra programmer and pcs lowering link with progressive spring. The other parts are still in the box, in shipment or back ordered.

What I have in boxes-- LM front fender, LM chin scoop, CustomLED tail light.
In shipment-- straightjackets dual position side mount license plate mount
Backordered--- V&H big radius 2/2 exhaust chrome.

Ok, the companies website is : WWW.luxuryplating.com.
They are out of California.
Anyone know who they are now and if there quality, durability, craftmanship is any good.
I have checked out the website yet, just got the link.

Also can you paint chrome? I'm THINKING of painting the inserts synergy green if I do chrome wheels or should I just leave them chrome? Where's my PhotoShop people at to help me out on what it would look like.

Look for local Crome dealers where ever you are , Patrice and I have found a local vender to do both rims in Crome and black powdercoat for a set price of $850, this includes the pully. that sure beats buying a set of custonm rims at around 2 to 3 grand , and you are not even talking abound the new bearins and rotor to match up to your break mounts.
i estimate the cost of doing her rims whih dismounting and mounting the tires and new bearing to come in around $1100.

I just picked up a bunch of chrome work - wheels, pulley, hubs - from Performance Edge in Akron, Ohio last week. The quality is unreal and Matt is great to work with. Worth the call, if you want top shelf chrome work.
