Hello fellow strykers,

I'm going to buy a tall backrest and rack for my copper stryker but can't decide whether I should get it in chrome or black. I know it's a personal decision but would like to hear your opinions.

hmmm. depends on what else you have planned for the bike... if you do aftermarket exhaust, what color exhaust would u get. i would have it match the chrome if it was mine.

I recently purchased a copper stryker and just had my 600 mile service done today. I decided that i am going to add the short midnight backrest to mine. However, they seem to be on backorder everywhere unless your buying the quick release one. I wrestled with this for quite a bit but in the end i think the black one will look best. Good Luck on your decision.

I have a copper as well and went with the short quick release chrome and I think it looks good on the red. And I'm not a chrome freak usually I hate it. If you want to go with the black I would suggest painting the chrome pieces that are on the side of the rear fender black as well or it won't look right. My wife is 5'4 and she loves the short she preferred the height of it over the tall.

Well, I said i wrestled with it quite a while but since 2 like the chrome over black, I think i am now going the chrome route. Thanks

I have the Raven, so black made sense for me. I just installed the Star quick-release short backrest with a luggage rack and I am impressed with how sturdy and heavy it is.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up buying chrome, tall fixed backrest with chrome luggage rack. I went with the tall just in case I decide to upgrade the seat. I'll post pics once it arrives and I get it installed.
