Question about clutch.
When pulling clutch lever just a bit, clutch already starts to slip. Does this mean clutch is worn and is about to be replaced soon?
Clutch lever has free play adjusted as per service manual so no issue there.
Im second owner and clutch felt bit strange for me from the moment I bought the bike.
First owner had just 6000km mileage, I have now added 4000km.

For the clutch to burn out at at the little bit of km, it would have had to been way out of adjustment, coupled with no oil changes, and feathered the whole time! I’d start with an oil and filter change.

Did full maintenance at the dealer right after I bought the bike. So oil is not an issue.
Clutch adjustment is correct.
But in generally this would indicate clutch wear, right?

What you describe sounds like Clutch wear, could also be a bad cable. I have heard of a few going bad. I’m approaching 45600km and still have original cable, however I do lube mine yearly at the start of every season. I feel that I use my clutch more than most especially in city driving 40km/h and under in turns also. I find it hard to believe that a clutch could be toast that soon. I guess it is possible but unlikely in my opinion.
