Wondering if anyone here has any personal experience with a coast to coast motorcycle transporter. Trying to do a cross country trip in late 2012 or early 2013 (if the world doesn't end this december ) only have the time to ride one way so Ill have to ship the bike home from the west coast. Any input would be helpfull, its easy to google a transporter, hard to find first hand experience.

The Big Dog dealership in Tampa FL shipped a Big Dog to Clovis NM for $500. No issues with the bike when it got there. Dont know who they used though. You might want to check into any local dealers that ship.

I see a few transport companies always listed in the AMA Motorcyclist magazine. You may want to check out the AMA site for providers.

Give Brent a call at Tejas http://www.tejasmotorsports.com/ I've contacted a couple shippers about shipping to the west coast so I could ride back but nobody could give me a specific delivery date (3-4 weeks) plus they prefer to pick up and drop off at dealerships
