The ECU flash is the only thing that I know of that will eliminate the popping on decel. Plus all the other advantages that it brings such as removing the EPA retarders, improved throttle response, smoother shifting, cooler running temps, higher rev limit...you get my point. It is the absolute best starting point we have available for our bikes as far as performance. You can always add to it but it is where you should begin.

What do you mean you can't get it out there? Call Ivan and I'm pretty sure he can get you all taken care of. It is not an item you purchase. It is an item you take off your bike, send it off and get it back re-programmed.

I meant we don't have a local product here so we have to order from the states and again complete novice so I have no idea when it comes to removing things lol

Super easy to remove. Pull the seat, lift the tool tray off the battery. There is a rubber boot on the left side that covers the wiring for the ECU. Pull it back, disconnect the plugs and the ECU slides right out. Hardwood Wood

Looks like this.

Biggest issue for you will be shipping time.

Hi Robby,

I had the same issue here in Germany.
Wanted Ivan's ECU flash but he wasn't happy with non US or Canadian requests. And I can perfectly understand him, all the hassle with customs and EU regulations, I wouldn't do this either if I was him. ;-)

Apart from that .... I had my sceptisism that, even if Ivan would have re-flashed my ECU, I would have a non-reversible mod, which could get me into trouble at the regular tec- and pollution checks here, I decided to go with the Cobra PowrPro. Along with a V&H twin slash staggered and a Cobra PowrFlo.
I can easily remove all these mods within 2 hours of time if neccessary (I went for the PowrPro over the PCV cause it's much easier to install).

And let me tell you, I'm very happy with my choice. All the effects the folks here describe as ECU flash results, I have as well. Absolutely no popping, good throttle response, no more hopping when cruising at low RPMs.

I'm sure Ivan's flash is a perfect solution and worth the money, but if you can't get it, go with the PowrPro! You'll not regret it.

Hello! I my name is Thomas, I'm from Portugal. I just recently bought a Yamaha Stryker and I'm having problems with popping (like extreme) after any desacceleration which I like but in a short ride. I did 600km with that noise, my head was exploding soo I start searching with a solution a I saw a youTube video talking about the Fi2000 and seem resolve the problems of several riders. So I speak with my mechanic and he installed. Yesterday morning I did the first driving with the mod and I was super happy no "bad" noise in my ears the bike feeling good in all gears (low and high rpm) but then In the afternoon I had to make a stop to put gas e then the bike start to feel "bad" again, ****y noise.
In the morning I start searching other settings for the controller to see if the problem can be solve with this one or if I need to adquired the new one (PowrPro)
I have a cobra full exhaust system and a K&N air filter.

If anyone can give some hint I will be immensely grateful.

Good rides 😎✌
