Ok so this might be a bit of a noob question, but can someone explain the differences between the 2 systems? I'm guessing that the Pro will do all that the fuel management will do and more (automatically). Please tell me if I am wrong. Also do they work in conjunction, or do you only need one or the other? I AM NEW SO PLEASE DON'T RAKE ME OVER THE COALS TOO MUCH PLEASE.

The Fi2000R.. requires YOU to set the paramiters of fuel delivery via some DIP switches... usually requires you to Dyno your bike to get it right. If after you Dyno and get everything dialed in... then change something that will affect performance.. you have to do it all over again.

The PowerPro... basically.. set it and forget it..... is does every adjustment on the fly... cost a bit more initially though...

Kuro, I 2nd that on the power pro. I noticed a great difference after having one installed. To me, it just didn't make sense not to spend the extra bucks on it, especially since it takes all the guesswork out of the equation. I don't necessarily trust a bike tech to set everything properly....much rather it be automatic assuming it does what it says.

lol stryker. I appreciate the input. I'm definitely leaning towards the auto tune. Another question.......
I know that I will get performance gains with the auto tune but if I lay off the throttle, should I expect mpg gains or am I dreaming?

I lol everytime I read posts about mpg. Who gives a **** about a couple of mpg's? It's a motorcycle.

I probably spend more money on overpriced obama-gas than anyone on this forum for my personal and business vehicles..... When I'm burning down the road on my stryker the last thing I'm thnking about is going easy on the throttle to save gas.

I ride with some guys with long-range cruisers/tourers (one BMW with an 8 gallon tank) and they are always giving me crap when I have to stop for gas. "You have to fill up AGAIN?" Stuff like that. But it's just payback because every time we stop people stop and look at my bike and ignore theirs! LOL.

Well I'm glad for you that you don't have the need to give two ****s about fuel economy, but for me it was one of the reasons I bought a bike in the first place. Don't get me wrong, it's not on my mind most of the time. I just think it would be nice to have the option being I use it for a 1hr commute to work about 2-3 times a week.
