Just got my Cobra Slip-on today and 30 tooth front sprocket. I took pics of muffler just setting on pipe. Muffler will set higher and cover axle nut and some of swingarm when I get it properly mounted this weekend. I did start bike up to hear exhaust and "YA BABY" she barks- Luv it and doesnt cover so much of rear wheel than the stock mufflers. I'm also switching out the 31 tooth stock front sprocket with the new 30 tooth this weekend. 30 tooth is what a Vstar 1300 uses. More power to rear wheels, but will probably just offset the larger diameter rear tire. which is what i was after.

that's a clean looking pipe, my buddy runs one of those on his Shadow 1100 and they do have a great tone, anxious to see what the sprocket does for you, do you expect it to run at highers rpm's at higher speeds

I'm hoping to get same RPM in relation to MPH that I had when bike was new or possibly higher. The Larger diameter of the 250 tire over the stock 210 is quite a change in itself. Just trying to counteract it. Some Raider folks have done this for performance gains also.

Got the 30 tooth front sprocket on today and stock belt works just jine. only about 3/8" more adjustment left, but I'm sure belt won't ever stretch that far anyway.

I have been thinking of this mod myself. I am looking for something to help through turns. In city driving I hate you need to goto 1st gear unless you want that lugging feeling by leaving in second. I owned a Vstar 1300 and never remeber this problem. Please let us know if this fixes it. And as always your bike is really looking bad ass. Keep it up!!

Thanks MityMo! Snowing and Cold and Salty here. Really sucks, but it is Winter! HEHEHE Hopefully March gets here soon and we have a short Winter. I have way to much mod time and money dropping to fast! Can't wait till I get my tank & Seat back and then take pics of all the new Mods I have been up to. I took the spark plug covers off today and painted RustOleum Fine Textured Black. Got the Cobra Slip-on completely installed. Tinted windshield with reverse Jack decal on back side. Will have to wait till it dries to see how that came out
