To start, yes I know there are a bunch of threads already on the slip on, but this is a little different.
Well decided to pull the baffle out of the cobra 20 minutes ago and went for a ride. HOLY S*** is it loud. So loud that i felt that i had to shift at the lowest rpm i possible could not to piss of the town. I headed for the cornfields to really hear what i sounds like/ volume. And i must say this is one of the loudest things ive heard. A friend of mine has a custom chopper with an S&S 1700cc engine with foot and ahalf shorty straights and the cobra without the baffle defiantly is pretty close to being that loud. I do like the harsh throaty unrefined tone though:)
just wanna hear what people think.

That's how I ran my Stryker, and I loved it. Even the cops would nod and wave :) Even stopped a truck from pulling out in front of me on the other side of a small hill because he heard me coming. So yes...loud pipes DO save lives! I just cut the pipes and pulled the baffles on my Raider, and was told my Stryker was still louder.

I do agree loud pipe save lives. Haha
update; I put the baffle back in the next day after riding 50 miles or so. Too loud for me. My helmet kills the wind noise then Im left with the exhaust screaming at me. My ears started to ring.
I was thinking about pulling it out again and cutting some holes in it.
. I just wish freedom performance could fill all of its orders

I assume you wear a full face? yeah...full face and loud exhausts don't mix, the noise just gets caught up in the helmet and is way too loud.
