I've checked the threads for Cobra Slip On but the sound clips aren't clear enough.
Is this slip on really quiter than our drilled pipes ?
Don't want to make the cosmetic change if the sound isn't worth it .

Mine was just delivered the other day. Will be installing this weekend. I will give an unbiased opinion then. I currently have the stock drilled with 4 x 1/2 inch and the baffle back plate cored out, and I'm still not happy with the sound.

I have the Cobra Slip On and no way is it quieter than the drilled stock. In the pic below, that's a 3 inch diameter hole that goes straight through to the pipes. There is a baffle, but it just surrounds the 3 inch hole. It is much louder than the drilled stock. It is also deeper and has more rumble.

I dont have video, but I love my Cobra. I test drove a Stryker from the dealer that already had a pipe on it, and had it included in my package, so when I picked it up brand new, the pipe was already on. I have never heard a stock stryker

The videos don't do it justice at all its alot louder then drilled pipes and very deep and throaty. After I installed mine and heard it unless you don't like the look of it which I love the look of mine you are waisting money on the full exhaust. I have noticed quite abit more power with the slip on over the drilled stock exhaust. You won't be disappointed at all. I smile every time I get on the gas :D

Mine sounds awesome. My friend that I was riding with said he thought he popped his tire it was so loud. My plate rattled off. It is very nice when you're on the gas. I can't help but rev it at stops :) it does backfire on decel, but I kinda like that ;)

You can put the tip any way you'd like. Shop installed mine this way. I kinda like it because it's different. I can always change it. You'll like the sound. You can always buy a full exhaust for triple the money if you're not satisfied.

Man don't say that. :( I've got to wait till next month because of lack of funds. I so want to hear my exhaust without having to drill it. I already have my Fuel Pak. Does everyone pretty much agree that Phat is the lowest price with free delivery?

There are 4 threaded holes in tip that sets inside pipe. 2 mounting holes located down and in toward bike on pipe. Take the 2 screws out and rotate tip to any of 4 positions and put screws back in.
