Hey everyone. I know this is an old thread but I found something worth bringing it back to life.

First, let me say this thread influenced me to purchase the Cobra slip-on for my 12 Stryker. Several of you have mentioned the newly exposed "hole" below the foot peg is annoying. As a perfectionist, I have to agree...

I found the perfect solution for next to nothing at Lowes!

Hillman Trim Push Fastner

For whatever reason they both Lowes and Home Depot are showing they don't carry them but that's where I found it. It was in the specialty drawers in the fasteners section.

Here is what it looks like on the bike:

I've checked the threads for Cobra Slip On but the sound clips aren't clear enough.
Is this slip on really quiter than our drilled pipes ?
Don't want to make the cosmetic change if the sound isn't worth it .

Hi fellow Strykers... I just bought a 2011 with a debaffled Cobra 2270. It is way to loud and is popping.

So I called Cobra USA and ordered a baffle... Nice folks.

The next step is looking for a new turner...

You may want to wrap or pack it a few times before install if it doesn’t come that way already if sound is an issue for you.
many local motorcycles auto parts store shop sells exhaust packing, or Amazon/EBay. I used stainless steel cable ties -local auto parts store - to secure it also aids in install.
