Just ordered the cobra slip on. Installation looks pretty simple. Anything funky I need to know?
Remove a couple of panhead screws at the end of the pipe. Then I took a 2' extension with a large socket and tapped it out from the inside. It is very loud, and I never thought I would be one to have exhaust like that.....but I got used to it real quickThat was my next question. How do you take the baffle out? Is it anything like V&H pipes?
nope...issues with back pressure are more prevalent with cars and have to do more with scavenging due to the timing of exhaust pulses from multiple cylinders. Never known of a problem with bikes. No issues with lack of back pressure?
Might need a tuner to fix that Joe- I can feel you taking a swing at me! HEHEHEI have always had a loss of low end torque from removing the baffles completely. Like, no get up and go.
Now thats funny Bro.......................fits, but funny. :tongue:Might need a tuner to fix that Joe- I can feel you taking a swing at me! HEHEHE
