Exactly, I'm grinning like an idiot every time I roll the throttle 100% and all the other riders smile in respect. Black cobra slip on with the chrome tip removed is the way to go. 8)

Do you have any up close photos with the tip removed? Does it make it look unfinished?

Nope. the tip is held on by a couple screws to the back of the exhaust. Looks clean and mean. Plus, removing the chrome tip takes away that focus and makes you notice the Cobra brand stamp etched at the end.
